Dear Sam Urquhart

Thank you for your email dated 14 January 2009. I apologise for the delay
with your response.

Please find enclosed the information requested.

solar panels, or passive solar heating technology

Zero.

ii) the number of council properties other than homes that are

fitted with solar panels or passive solar heating technology

Please see the table below. However please note that the schools
themselves lease the buildings from the Council and their own management
are responsible for how the buildings are configured, serviced and
maintained.

iii) the percentage of the council's energy consumption that is

derived from renewable sources, and details of the suppliers with

whom the council is contracted to provide that energy

If this relates to the council's energy consumption from the renewable
sources for question (ii), the council does not hold this information and
you would need to contact the individual schools.

If this question is referring to the main energy contract, then:

1. EDF provides electricity from Good Quality CHP on all their sites.
2. BGas provides electricity from a variety of renewable sources.

Please see the attached document which show figures as at April 2007. I am
currently awaiting more up to date information and will send you this as
soon as I am able.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me on 0208 489
1708 or email at [email address].

information or complain about the way your request was handled please
