Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to request information pertaining to the following
matters:
i) the number of council owned or rented homes that are fitted with
solar panels, or passive solar heating technology
ii) the number of council properties other than homes that are
fitted with solar panels or passive solar heating technology
iii) the percentage of the council's energy consumption that is
derived from renewable sources, and details of the suppliers with
whom the council is contracted to provide that energy.

Your request for information about properties with solar panels and
renewable energy has now been considered and the information is enclosed.
You asked:
i) the number of council owned or rented homes that are fitted with
solar panels, or passive solar heating technology - zero.
ii) the number of council properties other than homes that are fitted
with solar panels or passive solar heating technology - 6 all schools
iii) the percentage of the council's energy consumption that is derived
from renewable sources, and details of the suppliers with whom the council
is contracted to provide that energy - 22.4% and EON and EDF are our two
suppliers of energy.
