Further to your recent Freedom of Information request which we received on
8 January 2010, please find our response below.

The cost of resiting the bus stop from the lay-by on the old A5 Avondale
Weston Rhyn to a place near the Bridge Inn and then having to return it to
its original position. Could you please inform me of the overall costs
incured.

Originally there was no bus stop pole at its current location and hence
resiting from this location has not taken place. The bus stop pole was
first sited at a location that was thought appropriate but was subsequently
moved when the Parish Council raised safety concerns about that location.
The initial work to formalise this bus stop was part of a wider package of
work along the length of this corridor. Therefore it is not possible to
identify the exact costs of installation and then relocation of this
specific pole. However the average cost for the installation of a bus stop
pole is around £120. From a recent site visit we have noticed that the new
bus stop, now situated in its new location, has been hit by a vehicle and
is in need of repair which will be undertaken.
