I am writing to inform you that unfortunately we do not hold the
information you require. We have been advised by Legal Services that North
Tyneside Council is not trading as registered company and therefore would
not hold any information in relation to this.

I apologise that your request cannot be met, but if you have any further
information needs in the future then please do not hesitate to contact me.

If you are unhappy with the way the Council has handled your request, you
may ask for an internal review. Please contact the Information Governance

In order for the Council to be able to locate any information related to
this number please can you clarify which part or parts of the Council is
likely to use the number or what context the number has been used in.

It is also unclear whether this question relates to the ongoing internal
review into your previous question regarding 'trading as a registered
company' or whether it is a new and separate question. In order to deal
with this new question appropriately please can you confirm whether it
should be considered as part of the internal review or treated as a new
request.

The Council responded on 22^nd September 2009 and confirmed that: -

unfortunately we do not hold the information you require. We have
been advised by Legal Services that North Tyneside Council is not
trading as registered company and therefore would not hold any
information in relation to this.

He has taken into account your comments made on the 7^th, 9^th and 10^th
October regarding the website [1]http://www.checksure.biz and reference
numbers NL21837127 and UC6089048.

The reference numbers provided appear to be Checksure's own reference
numbers.

It is important to note that Companies House maintains the official
register of UK companies. Companies House has a free WebCheck service,
which enables people to search the official register. It is available at

Having reviewed your request the senior manager has confirmed that the
original response to your request is correct. North Tyneside Council is
