Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to request the following information under the Freedom
of Information Act:

- The number of meetings of the Regional Economic Council (REC)that
the chair of the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWRDA) has
attended since October 2008.

- The number of other board members or NWRDA staff members
travelling with the chair to those meetings.

- The total cost of travel and accomodation of NWRDA staff when
attending those meetings.

- Details of any meetings of the NWRDA board concerning the results
of REC meetings.

Dear Ms Urquhart

Thank you for your email dated 29 May 2009. Your request for
information about NWDA's attendance and associated costs of attending
the Regional Economic Council meetings since October 2008 will be dealt
with under the Freedom of Information Act.

A full reply will be sent within 20 working days in accordance with
section 10(1) of the Act which states the time limit for compliance is
the twentieth working day 'following' the date of receipt.
