East Dunbartonshire Council

6 January 2009

Dear Angus

I refer to your recent FOI request.

East Dunbartonshire Council operates a system where householders separate
the recyclable material and present it for collection in to two boxes and
one recycling bag, on a weekly basis. This is further separated by
Council operatives prior to it being loaded in to defined containers in
our specialised vehicles before being taken to our Contractors for
recycling. This allows the quality of the material to be maintained and
for all of the material collected to be recycled.

I trust this is helpful.

If you are dissatisfied with the way in which East Dunbartonshire Council
