Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to know what percentage of waste collected through
recycling schemes and submitted to recycling centres in Edinburgh
is actually recycled (i.e. does not end up back with general
waste).
Yours faithfully,
J Slim

I've looked at the original email, which is text only with spaces, and the layout is a bit confusing. I'm fairly sure though that it says:
Collected for Recycling: 68867.26
Recycled: 68539.33 (99%)
Rejected to Landfill: 327.93 (>1%)
Landfill from Commercial & Domestic Sites: 183367.46
Would be interesting to know what "rejected to landfill" means, if it really does cover all the waste from the recycling process.
Things to do with this request
