This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.
You have announced that you are recruiting the members of an
"Experts Group" to "provide an independent perspective to inform
the development of the NIS [National Identity Scheme]". You have
also announced that you will publish the names of the selected
experts.
Please tell me:
1. The names of the people you have appointed to the Experts Group,
to date.
2. The number of people who have sent you unsolicited applications
to join the Experts Group, to date.
3. The names of the people who made successful unsolicited
applications to join the Experts Group, to date.
4. The number of people who did not make unsolicited applications
to join the experts group, but were instead invited by the Home
Office to join the Experts Group, to date.
5. The names of the people who did not make unsolicited
applications to join the experts group, but have now accepted
invitations by the Home Office to join the Experts Group, to date.
