Dear Mr Woodley,

I would like to extend to you my apologies for the slight delay in responding to your FOI request below but I am in a position to do so now.

Please find attached a list of Non-Domestic Rate properties with a rateable value of up to £12,000 that are eligible for but do not receive Small Business Rate Relief in East Devon. This contains the addresses of all such properties. It also contains the names of companies at those addresses but I have had to remove the names of sole traders because, under Section 40 (2) and (3) of the Freedom of Information Act, release of this personal information would contravene Principle 1 of the Data Protection Act 1998.

I have also removed the rateable values because, under Section 43 (2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, release would, or would be likely to, prejudice the commercial interests of any person. Taking into account all the circumstances of your request, I have applied the public interest test and consider that it would not be in the public interest for this information to be released.

I trust this concludes your request for information.
