I write in connection with your request for information dated and received
on 20th January 2010.

Your request will now be considered in accordance with the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (the Act). You will receive a response within the
statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined by the Act, subject to
the information not being exempt or containing a reference to a third

I would like to see a copy of the most recent statistics of  racially
motivated crime in Herefordshire

REPLY: The below figures are taken from the latest Herefordshire Crime
Statistics (CRIMSEC3) return to the Home Office, showing valid offences
recorded in the period April to December 2009:

Racially or Religiously Aggravated Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm without
Intent - 1
Racially or Religiously Aggravated Actual Bodily Harm and Other Injury - 7
Racially or Religiously Aggravated Harassment - 1
Racially or Religiously Aggravated Public Fear, Alarm or Distress - 25
Racially or Religiously Aggravated Criminal Damage to a Dwelling - 1
Racially or Religiously Aggravated Assault without Injury - 7
