Robin made this Freedom of Information request to Oxford City Council
Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Oxford City Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.
From: Robin
16 July 2010
Dear Oxford City Council, I request to see all the documents. I was
unaware of these documents and wish to establish what information
Oxford City Housing were referring to as I was unaware of any
'secret' information being used against me. I am trying to
establish what exactly these documents are. Please understand that
I was only recently made aware of such documentation and as I had
no knowledge of them I am unable to tell you which particular
documents therefore I ask to see them all. I look forward to
receiving these documents. I was unaware that such requests for
information were subjected to time penalties or that information
could be further withheld. If necessary I request for the
information be released over a period of time until such time that
I have received it all.
yours sincerely
Robin Taunton
Dear Robin
I refer to the below acknowledgement.
Oxford City Homes has three files that relate to your tenancy. If
you require a copy of all of the papers on the files, it will be
necessary to review the papers to see if anything cannot be
disclosed because exemptions under the Freedom of Information Act
may apply. To carry out such a review is likely to mean that the
appropriate time for dealing with FOI request as defined by Section
12 of the Freedom of Information Act (which equates to about 18.5
hours per request) is exceeded.
Therefore, I should be grateful if you would clarify which
particular documents you wish to see so that I can consider the
matter further.
Yours sincerely
Sent on behalf of Michael Newman (Corporate Secretariat Manager &
Freedom of Information Officer)
