Dear Sir or Madam,

My request is regarding the current time allowed for absences
abroad under HSMP/Work permit.

(a) When ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) was 4 years the
qualifying period was 180 days (45*4=180) according to annexure F
(Employment Annexure).

(b) Now ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) is 5 years so what is the
current qualifying period is it 225 days (45*5=225 days).

There is no information regarding current residency requirement on
Bia site .

Kindly Update us .

Thanking You In anticipation .

Yours faithfully,

Reema.

Hello,

My question is

If HSMP visa was issued say 17/10/2005
individual arrives UK say 25/11/2005

He has stayed 4 years as per HSMP ILR judicial review, although he has visa running till October 2010. Which is the qualifying period: is it 28 days to 17/10/2005 when visa was issued or 28 days to 25/11/2005 when he arrived UK.

regards,

John.
