John H Hutchinson made this Freedom of Information request to Blackpool Borough Council

Waiting for an internal review by Blackpool Borough Council of their handling of this request.

From: John H Hutchinson

4 August 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

I shall be grateful if you will tell me how many public car parks
under public or private ownership there are in the area covered by
the Council that are bounded on two or more sides by open sea and
liable to flooding at high tide or during conditions of storm.
Also, if there are any, their locations.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

John H Hutchinson

Dear Pam Goodwin,
because the request was sent to a non-existent webmail addressee
and because it took so long to realise, I am requesting an internal
review as well as the answer to my question.

The complete string is available on the whatdotheyknow.com website.

In lieu of your reading that, here is a copy of the original
email:-

under public or private ownership there are in the area covered by
the Council that are bounded on two or more sides by open sea and

Dear Sir or Madam,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of
Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Blackpool Borough
Council's handling of my FOI request 'PUBLIC CAR PARKING'.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is
available on the Internet at this address:
http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/pu...

Your reply was not only late but is incomplete. There are
significant words missing from the sentence "Blackpool Council or
any private company have any car park, which fall into the criteria
specified in your request."

Yours faithfully,

John H Hutchinson

Dear Customer First,

I shall be grateful if you will address my request for internal
review.

Not only have I not received the information requested last August,
I have also not had my request for internal review answered.

Why has your FoIA system failed so badly?

I really ought to be asking for internal review of my internal
review but this will cause to many problems.

Yours sincerely,

John H Hutchinson
