I refer to your request for information regarding car parks, which was
received on 4th August, 2009 and has been dealt with under the Freedom
of Information Act 2000.

The specific information you requested was as follows:

1. The number of public car parks under public or private ownership
there are in the area covered by the Council that are bounded on two or
more sides by open sea and liable to flooding at high tide or during
conditions of storm.

2. If there are any, their locations.

In response, I can confirm that no Council owned or operated car parks
are bounded on two or more sides by the open sea. To the best of our
knowledge, there are also no privately owned car parks matching this
description within the County.
