Dear Mr Phillips

Thank you for your subsequent query.

I can confirm that as previously stated, there are no Service Family
Accommodation (SFA) properties in Leeds.
However there are 8 families housed within the Leeds postcode area in
Substitute SFA (SSFA) and 31 Service personnel housed in Substitute
Single Service Accommodation (SSSA) within the Leeds postcode area.
Substitute accommodation is sourced from the local commercial rental
sector and is only ever used as a last resort in cases where no
appropriate Service accommodation is available.

why you are evicting the family from 12 beechlees farsley leeds,
saying there is a need for sfa housing in farsley, is it the
intention of the d.h.e to sell this property?

Dear Mr Phillips

Thank you for your further enquiry.

I should perhaps clarify the previous response. The fact that there are a
number of entitled Service personnel living in Substitute Accommodation
across the Leeds postcode area is a result of there being insufficient
appropriate Service Accommodation available in the area to meet this small
but significant demand.

Owing to the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 I am unable to
comment on the specific case you mention.

Thank you for your further enquiry.

Substitute Service Family Accommodation (SSFA) is sourced from the local
rental market via Hambro Countrywide Relocations Limited, who are
contracted by the MOD to provide this service on our behalf. These
properties are owned by local private landlords.

Your request "Could you please tell me if there is a need for DHE
properties for MOD personnel in the West/North Leeds areas in West
