Professor Edzard Ernst's qualifications in CAM

michelle made this Freedom of Information request to University of Exeter

The request was successful.

From: michelle

5 June 2008

Dear Sir or Madam,

Since Professor Edzard Ernst is Professor of Complementary and
Alternative Medicine at Exeter University, I would like to request
knowledge of his qualifications in the subject.

Indeed, a Professor should be an expert in his field and Ernst
proclaims to have studied a number of CAM therapies, yet our
research reflects that this might not be so. Therefore to have
knowledge of his studies would put our minds at rest.

I would also like to know the basic criteria needed for the role of
the Laing chair.

Yours faithfully,
Michelle Shine
