Procurement of Contractors and Construction Consultancy Services -
Bexley - our reference 10/404
I acknowledge your request for information received on 14th June 2010.
Your request is being considered and you will receive the information
requested within the statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined
by the Freedom of Information Act 2000, subject to the information not
being exempt or containing a reference to a third party.
For your information, the Act defines a number of exemptions, which may

information will not be released. You will be informed if this is the

Thank you for your recent freedom of information request concerning
Procurement of Contractors and Construction Consultancy Services.
Your request has been considered and our response is shown below.
1. How you procure Construction Consultancy Services
The route taken to procure construction consultancy services varies
dependent on the estimated value of the consultancy service. Where a
formal tendering process is required these will be individually tendered
with the process being handled through the London Tenders Portal.
2. How you procure Construction Contractors
For major works each scheme is tendered individually. The process will be
handled through the London Tenders Portal.
Contractors for smaller works will be selected from our approved lists.
