Thank you for your request for information received by us on 16 June 2010.
This request has been handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
and I can now confirm our response as follows.

As a small Council we very rarely need to procure Construction Contractors
or Consultancy Services.

Since April 2010 we have been in a collaborative Procurement Partnership
with all of the District and Borough Councils and the County Council of
Dorset.

We do not have our own framework contract.

The Property Management Department of Dorset County Council is responsible
for any such contract.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your
request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision,
you should write to Kat Winterbottom, F.O.I. Co-ordinator, Purbeck
District Council, Central Services, Westport House, Worgret Road, Wareham,
BH20 4PP, or alternatively email her at

If you are not content with the outcome to your complaint, you may apply
directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the
ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints
procedure provided by Purbeck District Council. The Information
