Your Ref: FOI 59798

Dear Debbie,

Thank you for your response to my FOI request.

I understand why you did not provide the response to Parts 4 and 5.
Thank you for explaining the limits and where I might find
additional information.

However your statement that I have already received the answer to
Part 3 is incorrect. The DoH did supply me with the figures for
budgetary allocation to individual PCTs, but Part 3 asks for the
actual costs reimbursed to each individual prison.

Please may I ask you to take another look at the exact wording of
this request and try to provide the requested figures? Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

G Lawrence

Dear Mr Lawrence,

It was nice to speak to you earlier.

As I thought, the detail of reimbursement for each individual prison for
their actual escort and bedwatch costs is not held centrally at the Dept of
Health.

However, you are indeed right that the MoJ may hold this information and I
am advised that Baz Pankhania from the Management and Accounting team
within NOMS (National Offender Management Service) would be the relevant
contact.

If I get sent your further FOI request I will ensure I forward it to Baz.

Kind regards

Debbie
