John Walker made this Freedom of Information request to Cabinet Office

The request was refused by Cabinet Office.

From: John Walker

11 September 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

It is a matter of great public interest that the following question
be answered:

Is Mr Brown on medication of any sort?

If so, what medication and what are the doses?

Yours faithfully,

John Walker

Surely this is personal information and therefore exempt under the FOI Act.

John O'Connor left an annotation (14 September 2009)

This seems a bit broad. Maybe narrow it down to the use of psychotropic drugs?

Janine Baker left an annotation (16 September 2009)

As well as being exempt as personal information, this would not be information held by the Cabinet Office. People within the Cabinet Office may know what medication he is on, but it is not their information to share.

Ben Jones left an annotation ( 7 October 2009)

In what sense is this in the Public interest?
Would you willing to reveal your medication history?
