PR and marketing expenditure

Dear Manchester City Council,

I would like to know, under the Freedom of Information Act, how
much Manchester City Council has spent in the past two financial
years on marketing and PR.

Please would you provide me with the following details:

1. The number of people employed by the council in PR,
communications, marketing, and as press officers.

2. The amount the council has spent on PR and marketing, including
these people's salaries, in the last two financial years.

3. The amount the council has spent on consultancy from private PR
firms in the same period.

Dear Manchester City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of
Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Manchester City
Council's handling of my FOI request 'PR and marketing
expenditure'.

My request should have been dealt with by 10 February as required
by law. Despite sending a reminder on 11 February I have received
no response.

Manchester City Council did receive the original request, an
acknowledgement of which was sent on 21 January.

Dear Manchester City Council,

Please respond to my request. I will be going to the Information
Commissioner at the end of the week if this is not promptly dealt
with.

The way in which the Council deals with FoI is completely
unacceptable and my requests over the past few months have almost
all been late as well. I want a full explanation as to why this
particular request is now four months late.
