A Freedom of Information request to Independent Police Complaints Commission by Mr Andrews
Waiting for an internal review by Independent Police Complaints Commission of their handling of this request.
Mr Andrews
4 June 2009
Dear Sir or Madam,
I would request any information the IPCC holds in relation to
persons making complaints about the Police subsequently becomming
victims of victimisation by the Police.
One such example is figures the IPCC may collect on repeat
complaints of Police harassment/Police victimisation.
Yours faithfully,
Mr Andrews

Dear Athena Cass,
I do not have different 'request sites', I have just this site on
'what do they know'. Please enlighten me as to where the other
sites may be.
In relation to this request, I have not received any letter dated
the 14th of Dec, nor is it attached to your latest posting. can you
please inform me where you might be sending this correspondence?
Finally, this issue was first started in Sep 2009, you are well
beyond the statutory limits of the FOI.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr Andrews,
Thank you for your e-mail dated 04 June 2009. I am really sorry for the
oversight; your file was misplaced during an office move. Your FOI case
file has subsequently been found and I have conducted a keyword factor
search on 'victimisation'.
I attach for your review my formal response under the provisions of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Yours sincerely,
Ms V. Parker

Dear Vangie Parker,
You again have not complied with the FOI act, as you should under
the act provide as much information as possible.
even if we consider this particular response, you believe that
viewing all the files would exceed the appropriate limit. You do
not state that you will provide the first 54 case files, which
using your figures would come within the appropriate limit.
Therefore I am asking for the first 54 case files to be viewed and
information provided in line with this request.
YOU HAVE ALSO TAKEN 9 MONTHS! to tell me you won't give me this
information, this is wholly unacceptable and I don't buy the excuse
that this was mislaid due to an office move! As your records are
held electronically!
I look forward to a timely response.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Andrews
