Dear K Lacey,

Thank you for your information request of 1 July 2010, made under the
Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA). Aberdeen City
Council (ACC) has completed the necessary search for the information
requested.

1. No court prosecutions relating to unauthorised development/breach
of planning permission have been brought by the Council during the
period between 1st January 2005 to 31st March 2010.

2. 778 complaints and/or enquiries relating to unauthorised/possible
unauthorised development or breaches of planning permission were
received between the period 1st April 2005 to 31st March 2010. No
records are available for the period between 1st January to 31st March
2005. Please see attached Information Not Held Notice.

3. 743 of these complaints and/or enquiries have been determined, 35
remain undetermined.

We are unable to provide you with information on Q2 - for 2005 as it is
not held by the Council. In order to comply with its obligations under
the terms of section 17 of the FOISA, the Council must issue an official
notice in relation to any requests for information not held by it. I
therefore attach an Information Not Held notice.

We hope this helps with your request.

Yours sincerely,

Jean Reid
FOI Compliance Assistant
