The request was successful.

From: Francis Irving

21 December 2007

Dear Sir or Madam,

On page 32 of the document "Parliament - Corporate Business Plan
2007"
) it says that PICT "undertook work to identify a future
development path for Parliament’s Enterprise Architecture".

I would like a copy of the resultant "agreed set of priorities and
programme of work for the period up to 2009/10".

Yours faithfully,

Francis

Dear Francis Irving

Thank you for your email of 21 December, in which you made the following
request:

On page 32 of the document "Parliament - Corporate Business Plan 2007"
it says that PICT "undertook work to identify a future development path
for Parliament's Enterprise Architecture". I would like a copy of the
resultant "agreed set of priorities and programme of work for the period
up to 2009/10".

The response follows:

The agreed priorities and programme referred to a broad set of
discussions and are not recorded in a single document or set of
documents. However I hope that the following information and attachment
is of use.

PICT is a joint department of Parliament and derives its priorities from
the Corporate Plan of the House of Commons, and the Strategic Plan of
the House of Lords (both available on the Parliamentary website). From
this PICT creates its own annual business plan, describing intended
departmental-specific activity, against which to monitor progress. The
resulting programme of work and priorities are partially set out in the
PICT Business Plan 2007 and I attach extracts that set out PICT's
priorities and objectives for this period and which inform the
development path and programme referred to in the Corporate Plans of
both Houses. Progress against these priorities and objectives will be
reviewed in PICT's annual report to both Houses.

Business planning is an ongoing activity and we are currently working on
the plan for 2008 and beyond. This will incorporate some ongoing
activities from the 2007 plan but will also include new requirements
identified more recently.

The House of Commons will consider complaints in relation to its
handling of this request. These should be addressed to
[House of Commons request email] Please ensure that you specify the nature of
your complaint and any arguments or points that you wish to make. If you
remain dissatisfied, you may appeal to the Information Commissioner at
Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.

Yours Sincerely

Bob Castle
