Dear Sir or Madam,

On the 11th July 2009, I submitted a Freedom of Information request
regarding Perseverence Mills in Padiham to Burnley Borough Council,
and a response was due by the 12th August 2009. Under the Freedom
of Information Act, you should have replied by now, a response not
dealt with within this timescale is breaking the law.

I would politely request an internal review be carried out on this

I write in relation to your email dated 13th August 2009 requesting a response to your request for information regarding Perseverance Mills in Padiham made on 11th July 2009 and a review (given that your original request was not responded to within the statutory period).

I apologise for the delay in responding to your original request. Following a review of the matter, I can now confirm that the Council's records show 36 complaints being received relating to the former site of Perseverance Mills, Padiham.
