Permanent Placement Fees Paid by schools in Staffordshire

Dear Staffordshire County Council,

I am interested in the amount paid by each school in Staffordshire
LEAS to thris parties in relation to permanent placement as opposed
to temporary agency staffing expenditure

My hope is to recieve an electronic breakdown of amount paid
through the departments purchase ledger by school

Notes
1 I would like the information in electronic format, this should
avoid any printing cost issues
2 In order to avoid you having toclooate information I am willing
to accept information only from your main system

3. The information i require for each school is : School Name
Supplier name and total amount paid

4 I would like the information to cover the year 09/10

Re Freedom of Information Act 2000

Thank you for your request for information, which was received on 1st
September.

The general position in Staffordshire is not to appoint to permanent
positions through agencies.
This policy is commended to schools, which have delegated powers on
recruitment and have been advised of the possible "introduction fee"
consequences of recruiting to permanent posts people who may have been
appointed initially on a casual basis via agencies.
