Dear Vangie Parker,
I understand your predicament, there has been so many cases in the
last few years citing perjury or perverting the course of justice
that you would be unable to provide a response to my queries as
this would take too long.
As perjury/perverting the course of justice is such that it
undermines the judicial system, are there any plans for the IPCC to
improve it's reporting systems in this area?
If it falls within the permitted limits, may I have the information
for the last full calender year, namely 2008?
The point of clarification on the 'sent' I mean refered the file to
the CPS for consideration.
Many thanks,
Mr Andrews
Yours sincerely,
Mr Andrews

I too am interested in the results of this request.
Should I submit a copy myself and hope that this breach of statutory time limits is merely an oversight?

Dear IPCC,
As you can well see there is a clear 'unlawful' delay in responding to this FOI request. There is also a number of interested parties expressing wishes to receive this info.
William Gibson left an annotation ( 2 November 2009)
I have a personal interest in seeing this information.I also wonder who is responsible for ensuring that the Law is enforced when Statutory Law is breached by the IPCC.
It would appear that the IPCC are in breach of time limits in this instance.
Arthur Peasgill left an annotation ( 3 November 2009)
The fact is that the IPCC do nothing about either police corruption, perjury or worse. The actions of the IPCC, in supporting the police via inaction in misconduct whenever possible, perpetuates and reinforces the conduct of the police. On many occasions the IPCC even collude and conspire with the police via casework staff in local offices. Of course the higher echelons of the IPCC are in denial of this. They never get out of their ivory towers and ignore what is in front of their eyes. We're all being well ripped off.
That bully who pushed over and contributed to the death of Ian Tomlinson is a case in point. If you or I had pushed an officer over, with that evidence, we'd have been in court and dealt with the next day. The IPCC are still pussyfooting around the police over 7 months later. And the IPCC wilfully misled everybody about the events when they actually happened. We're knackered with the I (incompetent) Police Complaints Commission.

I have been trying to get action from the IPCC as well
I was the subject of perjured evidence by a police staff officer in Jan 08, I obtained photographic evidence from the safety camera partnership where this officer works, but the IPCC won`t take the matter up,I am contacting my MP this friday. MR Keith Hammond ( taxi driver )
Theresa Ezekpo left an annotation ( 3 November 2009)
The IPCC is nothing more than a very harmful illusion used by the establishment to distract, wear down and prevent complainants from engaging in genuine pursuit of justice against the police. They are the reason why standards have fallen so low in the police such that many officers blatantly tell malicious lies and behave like common criminals. There used to be very few bad apples in the police office but now the majority of officers see perjury and perverting the course of justice as normal routine. They know that they are not really accountable to any body.

Dear Vangie Parker,
I now know you are back from holiday as you replied (late) to my
request in relation to release of IPCC managed and independent
cases.
Can you please indicate why the IPCC is refusing to deal with this
particular request, which was made some 5 months ago.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Andrews

To see EVIDENCE of faulty Gatso speed Cameras see YouTube and search `denny174`.The police have been fabricating the Type Approval process.

I would also like to have the information Mr Andrews has requested made known to the public.
I have also been subjected to an illegal police arrest using excessive force. At the station I was denied my rights and held for over 17hrs.
I demanded my rights and to be released - they then fabricated that I assaulted one of them to have a 'ground' to hold me.
They then suppressed the street cctv evidence and the custody suite cctv evidence has the audio aspect conveniently wiped off so you can't hear me requesting my rights!
I won my case on appeal which took over 2yrs and 10 appearances (at what cost to the tax payer is yet to be calculated) on an abuse of process argument.
There is currently a press gagging order on the case and it is being referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP)(Head of the CPS).
His test questions are: 1) Is there enough evidence to secure a conviction? & 2) Is it a matter of public interest?
According to the judge who heard my case, the answer to the two questions are YES!
So lets see them try and wriggle out of this one! The IPCC and the police are already trying to do so by saying that my complaint is over 12months old!
I told them that they will be brought to justice irrespective of whether they make internal investigations or not!
I have formed a facebook group called 'Warriors for Justice' - All readers please feel free to join and add your encounters/experiences there!
In the interests of justice.
Respectfully yours

I too from experience have a personal interest in the integrity of the IPCC.. it is just another brick wall protecting the Police, as I understand most of them are retired Police Officers. The evidence that went to the CPS and in particular regarding my Mother's death at the Gosport War Memorial Hospital was a shocking representation of the fact's... including misinterpretations of the truth from lying experts all to protect Dr Jane Barton's practicing from being exposed.
D. Speers left an annotation (22 May 2011)
Having read more about Gosport War Memorial Hospital and the appalling numbers of deaths there, I understand there were 2087 deaths in just 10 years, all under one doctor Jane Barton, in that tiny cottage hospital? As with the failures in Mid Staffordshire, where was the Public Inquiry?
The main point of Parliament and all these regulators is Parliament makes the law and public bodies enforce it (allegedly!)In a democracy governed by laws, to see the Government and public bodies as law breakers must invite dissent and even anarchy!

The very powerful roles of the police in our society means that honesty and integrity are crucial standards that police officers must demonstrate in their duties in order to serve us properly/fairly and to deserve/receive our trust.
Mr Andrews therefore deserves to receive clear, prompt, complete and honest information from the IPCC in response to each item of his request.
