Performance of the Exceptional Cases Panel
Richard Taylor made this Freedom of Information request to Cambridgeshire Primary Care Trust (PCT)
The request was refused by Cambridgeshire Primary Care Trust (PCT).
From: Richard Taylor
22 November 2009
I would like to request the release of information related to the
time taken for applications to NHS Cambridgeshire's exceptional
cases panel to be decided and acted upon.
I imagine you hold a spreadsheet or database intended to keep track
of the progress of applications to the panel. My request is for a
copy of that information. I understand you may have to redact
material for data-protection and privacy reasons prior to release.
I am expecting a spreadsheet (Excel or CSV) containing a row for
each request made to the exceptional cases panel with fields
including, at least:
i/ The submission date given on the request form for the
exceptional cases panel.
ii/ The date of the first panel meeting at which the case was
considered.
iii/ The date of the final panel meeting at which the case was
considered.
iv/ The date the funds were actually spent (or began to be spent).
v/ If the request was categorised as routine, immediate or urgent.
vi/ The sums of money requested / approved.
I would like limit my request to information relating to requests
made since the 1st of April 2007.
Could you also release any formal or informal reports, summaries or
statistics on the performance of the exceptional cases panel in
this period. (With the exception of the Public Health Performance
Reports to Board meetings in public as they have already been
published. )
I intend this request to be as minimally onerous as possible and
would hope the information could be easily released; if this is not
the case please do get in touch and let me know what related
information you can easily provide and suggest how I could refine
my request.
Many thanks,
--
