People's question time policing costs

Will Parbury made this Freedom of Information request to Metropolitan Police Service (MPS)

The request was successful.

From: Will Parbury

9 February 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you to request information under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000. In order to assist you with this request, I
am outlining my query as specifically as possible.

The Mayor of London took part in a "people's question time" meeting
in the London borough of Hillingdon at the Beck Theatre on
Wednesday 21st January 2009.

I understand there was a number of MPS personnel in attendance at
this event to provide security. What was the total number of police
and/or PCSO's involved the operation?

Further what was the total cost of the operation?

I am interested in any information held by the Greater London
Authority regarding my request. I understand that I do not have to
specify particular files or documents and that it is the MPS's
responsibility to provide the information I require.

I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have
received this request. I look forward to your full response within
the statutory 20 working days.

Thank you in advance for your help with this request.

Yours faithfully,

Will Parbury
