5. How many warnings for items 3 and 4?

Following receipt of your request searches were conducted within the MPS
to locate information relevant to your request.

EXTENT OF SEARCHES TO LOCATE INFORMATION

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted
at the Traffic Criminal Justice Operational Command Unit.

DECISION

I will deal with your request in question number order:-

1. No such offence therefore, no information held - The advanced stop
line merely creates separate stop lines for different classes of vehicle.
Therefore, cases where an advanced stop line has been contravened would be
recorded as "contravening automatic traffic signal". A manual search
could be conducted of all red-light tickets issued, but this would exceed
the Freedom of Information cost threshold to supply without charge and
there is no guarantee that automatic stop line offences would be flagged.

2. No information held as per above.

3. 1/4/2007 - 31/3/2008 536
1/4/2008 - 31/3/2009 1085
1/4/2009 - 31/3/2010 1872

4. 1/4/2007 - 31/3/2008 89, 833
1/4/2008 - 31/3/2009 89,495
1/4/2009 - 31/3/2010 79,851

With regard to question 4 - Please note that this is the total number of
Fixed Penalty Notices issued and includes those issued by officers on the
street and those initiated by speed safety camera activations. The figures
also include cases where Speed Awareness Workshops have been attended.

5. No information held.

If you are dissatisfied with this response please read the attached paper
entitled Complaint Rights which explains how to make a complaint.
