PCN on A1 service Road
P Gilbert made this Freedom of Information request to Barnet Borough Council
The request was partially successful.
From: P Gilbert
18 March 2010
Dear Barnet Borough Council,
Please can you tell me how many PCNs have been issue for cars
parked obstructing the pavement on the A1 service road between
Champions Way and Ashley Lane. The reason I ask is that whenever I
walk that way, I find it difficult to walk on the pavement as cars
block it - instead I have to walk on the road, which is dangerous
due to the traffic.
Also can you provide me with the same information for Holders Hill
Road between the junction with the A1 and Holders Hill Drive.
For both please can you provide the last 3 years' data, along with
how many of the PCNs were paid, and how many were cancelled?
Yours faithfully,
P Gilbert

No PCNs have been issued by the London Borough of Barnet at this location.
We believe that this road would be patrolled by Transport for London.

We are unable to report on that specific location on Holders Hill Road,
however since 01/03/07 and 01/03/10 I can confirm that 198 PCN's have been
issued for parking with one or more wheels off the carriageway on the
whole of Holders Hill Road. Of that 22 have been cancelled and 163 have
been paid.
