Can you supply me with the annual revenue from decriminalised
parking since it's inception year by year and/or number of tickets
issued.

Can you also supply me with the number of new parking spaces you
have made available over the same period.

Dear Mr Watts,

Your request for information regarding income for Penalty Charge Notices since Sefton began decriminalised parking enforcement in February 2000 has now been considered. I am able to respond to your request in the following manner.

The information related to financial years is as follows:

2000/01 - £597,451
2001/02 - £684,766
2002/03 - £714,731
2003/04 - £953,238
2004/05 - £1,131,078
2005/06 - £1,044,170
2006/07 - £1,049,519
2007.08 - £1,036,960

I can also confirm that over the same period of time approximately 650 new parking spaces (Park and Ride) have been created in Sefton
