Dear Sir or Madam,

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST

For parking offences in the Lambeth Borough, with contravention '12
Parked in a residents or shared use place or zone without clearly
displaying either a permit or voucher or pay and display ticket
issued for that place', please provide the following information
for the the period 01/01/2007 through 01/07/2008 inclusive:

1. How many PCNs were issued?

2. How many PCNs were contested?

3a) How many PCNs were cancelled by LPS prior to issuance of
'Notice to owner' as a result of contest?

3b) What was the average number of days between issuance of PCN and
letter confirming cancellation?

4a)How many 'Notice to Owner's were issued?

4b) What was the average number of days between issuance of PCN and
issuance of 'Notice to Owner'?

5. In how many cases were representations made on the grounds 'The
alleged contravention did not occur'.

6. For cases in (5), how many representations were successful in
causing the PCN to be cancelled.

7. For cases in (6), what was the average number of days between
issuance of 'Notice to Owner' and letter confirming cancellation.

Any assistance you can provide in letting me know how you hold or
structure this data would be appreciated in order to avoid the need
to create new information to satisfy this request. I would ask that
you remember the Act’s Section 16 duty on public authorities to
provide advice and assistance to requesters.

statutory time period.
