Dear Madam or Sir,
On 23 July 2008, I sent you a Freedom of Information request,
asking:
'Would you please provide any correspondence between your Agency
and the following correspondents regarding any consideration of
Ulster-Scots becoming one of the official language of the European
Union?
1 Her Britannic Majesty's Government
2 the Government of Ireland (the republic)
3 the Institutions and Agencies of the European Union'
However, 20 working days later, now I still have not received the
information I requested.
Section 10(1) of Freedom of Information Act 2000 (c. 36) provides
that "Subject to subsections (2) and (3), a public authority must
comply with section 1(1) promptly and in any event not later than
the twentieth working day following the date of receipt."
Therefore, I am entitled to your response immediately, and now
expect it by the end of today, Friday 22 August 2008.
