DECISION

In respect of your request for:
Please inform me how many serving officers in the Metropolitan Police
Service who are or have been posted in the Camden Town area have been

in the last 10 years or if this is too difficult convictions in the last 5

Please note that our records were searched for officers who were based
within Camden Borough, during the period 01/04/ 2003 to date, who received
convictions for any drug related offence. I can confirm that 1 police
officer based in Camden Borough was found guilty at court for Possession
of Drugs. He received an Adult Caution at court and no further
disciplinary action was taken against him by the MPS as a sentence of 5
months imprisonment was also imposed on this officer by the court in
relation to another matter which was not drug related

The MPS expects its staff to behave ethically, professionally and with the
utmost integrity at all times. Any instance where the conduct of staff
may bring the MPS into disrepute is treated extremely seriously in line
with MPS policy.
