Dear Sir or Madam,
i would like to know the number of objections that were received
by south tyneside council for , the change of parking regulations
on sunderland road , between borough road and moor avenue, which had
a closing date of june 2nd,i myself put an objection in,posted on
the 14th may[1st class stamp posted on sunderland road ]to Brian T
Scott head of corporate governance, town hall & civic
buildings,westoe road,south shields,tyne&wear,NE33 2RL,but i have
been informed that this did not arrive the reply that did arrive
was the one i sent in reply to information i got from the freedom
of information act which said if i wanted to object i had 4 weeks
to do so ,and this is what i did, although this was after june 2nd
,when i got a reply from south tyneside council ,it said that my
objection could not be considered because it arrived after june 2nd
which was the deadline ,this letter was in 4 pages , all clipped
together and all the same, all signed by the same person ,2 days
later another letter ,yes same again ,signed by same , so that was
5 times i was told that my objection could not be considered,i
spoke on the telephone to the person that signed these letters and
told him i had sent an objection in on the 14 may , and it was he
who checked this , and said none had arrived ,[Sia Mahmoodshahi]and
he could do nothing further ,
Yours faithfully,
m mellan
