under the FOI Act I would like to know how many stray and unwanted
dogs were euthanized in your county from Feb 2008 to Feb 2009 .

Dear Ms Jones,
I refer to your request for information regarding dogs, which was received
on 19th February, 2009 and has been dealt with under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.
The specific information you requested was the the number of
stray/unwanted dogs that were euthanised/put to sleep in Carmarthenshire
from February, 2008 to February, 2009.
In response, please find attached an spreadsheet and graph which provides
the information you have requested, along with other data which puts the
number of dogs put to sleep in a proper context. I would add that the
data covers the period up to 31st January, 2009, that is, to February.
