Dear Sir or Madam,

Could you please provide me the following information:

i) Number of PCN notices issued since 1st January 2008 to motorists
for 'being in a bus lane' in High Street, Oxford also known as
'Oxford Bus Gate.'

ii) Number of those PCN notices in i) above that were paid without
challenge by motorists.

iii) Number of those PCN notices in i) above that were challenged
by motorists and the outcome of those challenges?

Oxford is a two tier local authority area. The bus lane and gate enforcment would have been taken on by Oxfordshire County Council from the police under the powers of the 2000 Transport Act.
