Thank you for your recent request.

Your request is being considered and you will receive a response within the statutory timescale of 20 working days, subject to the application of any exemptions. Thank you for your recent request. We are pleased to enclose the following
information.

The number of children registered as electively home educated during the
Academic Year 2008 - 2009 was 183. However, please note that not all
children were registered for the whole of the academic year, some may only
have been registered for part of the year. As of 31/08/09 there were 125
children registered.
