academic year 2008-09.

1 and 2) There are 178 children on the home educated list and none had a
Child Protection Plan as at 31st March 2009.

3 and 4) The number of children with a Protection Plan for Neglect or Abuse
(08/09) is:

Abuse (Sexual) 12
(Physical) 22
(Emotional) 91

This information has been taken from the CPR3 as submitted to the DCSF in May
2009.

The number of children within the LA as stated in the 2001 census and taken
from the National Statistics website is:

0 - 4 30,456
5 - 9 31,564
10-14 31,913
15-19 29,038
