Thank you for your letter which was received on 01 July in which you asked
for:
1. Number of electively home educated children known to your LA.

of abuse.
Unfortunately I cannot identify and locate the information you have
requested from the details you have provided. To help me meet your request
I would be grateful if you could provide further details that might assist
us in identifying the information you are seeking.
I will not be able to take this matter further without extra information
from you. In particular, it would be useful to know what type of care plan
you are referring to in Questions 2 and 4. For example, are you referring
to a child in need plan or perhaps a child protection plan? I would also
like to know which age group(s) you are referring to when you make
reference to 'children' in Question 3.
If you are dissatisfied with this response and wish to appeal, please
write to the Information Governance Team, Appeals, 6-15 Florfield Road,
Hackney London E8 1DT and your complaint will be dealt with through our
Internal Review procedure.

In Qs 2 and 4 I am referring to children at risk of abuse and
neglect etc rather than those who are receiving services because
they are disabled for example.
In question 3 I wish to know the total number of all children
living in your local authority area.
