October 2007).

It would be interesting to learn how long it took the authorities to act from when they first received a complaint - plus whether or not action taken was determined on how many people complained about a particular person/s.

The following information illustrates the reality concerning Camden council's attitude and approach anti-social behaviour:

In August 2008, a neighbour, who works for camden council as Trainee Social Worker, and her partner assaulted and harassed my children and I. They also broke my living room window and insulted us during the incident.

I reported the incident to the police and Camden council. The police fined the woman's partner. The council did nothing.

This was despite the fact that the couple have been harassing and assaulting my children and I since 2001 and that the police had served the man with several harassment warnings including one for assaulting and harassing my daughter in 2007. After the warning of 2007, the police had promised that the man would be arrested if he troubled us again. This clearly did not happen in August 2008.

I was not happy with the response of the police and fact that they had failed to arrest and prosecute couple as promised - even after seeing a video evidence of what happened.

I complained about the officers involved but the police responded by posting a harassment warning to me in retaliation.

The council has done absolutley nothing to help or protect my children and I. My MP, Glenda Jackson and Cllrs have ignored my complaints about the council. My living room window remains broken to date.
