Dear Bexley Borough Council,
Please provide the following information:
1. The number of job applications for lawyer/solicitor level roles
made to the Council's Legal Department within the last 3 years.
2. The number of job applications for lawyer/solicitor level roles
made to the Council's Legal Department by ‘Jewish / Somali / Sikh /
Hindu / Tamil’ within the last 3 years.
3. How many of the above applications by ‘Jewish / Somali / Sikh /
Hindu / Tamil’ have been successful.
4. How many ‘Jewish / Somali / Sikh / Hindu / Tamil’ currently work
as lawyers/Solicitors for the Council and how many have worked as
lawyers/Solicitors on a yearly basis over the last 3 years.
5. Has the Council ever looked at the above as an issue of concern
and at what level in the Council's corporate structure was it
considered.
If the above data is not available for the period of 3 years then
please provide it for the period for which it is available.
