Dear Mr Dootson
I am writing in response to your request for information under the terms
of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Ref No FOI/09/082
No hard copies of neighbour consultation letters are kept. However, they
contain standard text stored as a letter template in our computerised
planning system.
Please find attached a copy of the letter obtained from the system,
showing what form the consultation letters took. The initial consultation
letters were issued on 12 June 2008.
I hope the information provided here answers your enquiry. If however,
you are unhappy with the outcome, or the way in which Chorley Council has
handled your request, you may wish to make an appeal. This can be done in
writing to the Freedom of Information Officer, Chorley Council, Civic
Offices, Union Street, Chorley, PR7 1AL, or by e-mail to:
[1][email address] clearly stating your reasons for dissatisfaction.
Please quote the above reference number in all correspondence.
If your appeal is either not upheld or you remain dissatisfied with our
decision, you can appeal to the Information Commissioner at: Information
Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9
5AF, or by e-mail to [2][email address].
Yours sincerely

Dear foi, I am not satisfied with the internal review decision, and
ask the following questions,
(1) Who was on the review panel ?
(2) Why wasn't I given the opportunity to put before the panel
evidence to contradict the panels decision ?.
(3) On what evidence did you base your decision ?.
(4) Why wasn't I allowed to challenge your statements made, before
you reached your decision ?.
You have denied my right to a fair and just hearing, and therefore
your decision is not a democratic one.
Yours sincerely,
Robert Dootson

I asked for a dated copy of the neighbour consultation letter that they said had been sent out.
Instead they produced a letter that was differant to the one submitted to the LGO.
The LGO letter contained discrepencies which didn't comply with Town & Country requirements.
The Internal review supported the production of a second letter with these discrepencies corrected, and alterations to the applicant details.

I am not happy with the information they sent, and the method they used.
They manufactured a false answer,so I have sent the concern to the ICO

And I believe it to have been manufactured to tick another box for the LGO.
It's contents don't tally with requirements.
