Dear Oxford City Council,

Please would you provide details for the each of the financial
years 2004/5 - 2009/10 of:

(1) the number of staff leaving the Council's employment receiving
a redundancy or other severance payment of > £30,000 (not including
outstanding wages, holiday pay, pay in lieu of notice, or other
similar payments);
(2) the average amount of severance payment made in these cases
(not including outstanding wages, holiday pay, pay in lieu of
notice, or other payments on which National Insurance contributions
are payable) in each of those years;
(3) the amount of National Insurance deductions made in each of
those years in respect of those redundancy or severance payments
(not including deductions made from outstanding wages, holiday pay,
pay in lieu of notice, or other similar payments).
Should the number of staff in any single year be so small as to
cause concerns regarding confidentiality, please provide figures
for combined years.

Yours faithfully,

SJ Fisher
