Suffolk Constabulary did not have the information requested.
From: Ms. N. McCall
19 March 2009
Dear Suffolk Constabulary,
I am seeking any and all information you may hold concerning the
National Attendance Management Forum in respect of police injury
pensions.
To assist you in your search, please be advised that the National
Attendance Management Forum meetings are or were held at the West
Midlands Police Tally Ho! training centre. Suffolk Constabulary
will have regularly sent a delegate or delegates to these meetings.
At a meeting held on 12th October 2004 the delegates were Toni
McCormack, Personnel Adviser and Amanda Parker, Personnel Manager.
Delegates will most probably have been drawn from your force's
Human Resources department or similar.
I understand from the Home Office that over a number of meetings a
'round the table discussion' took place concerning police injury
pensions. I have asked the Home Office and West Midlands Police for
certain information, but it would assist my research if Suffolk
Constabulary were to supply documentary evidence of these
discussions. I cannot readily identify what form any documents may
take, so please interpret my request as widely as possible and
include rather than exclude if you are in any doubt. Documents may
include minutes, notes made by the delegates, handouts, papers,
etc. etc. The relevant meetings will have taken place at some time
before August 2004.
The Section 16 (1) of the FOI Act requires you to provide
assistance and advice and I would be most grateful if you would
apply that requirement generously. Please don't hesitate to contact
me if you require any clarification of my request.
Yours faithfully,
Ms. N. McCall
