Mormon Missionaries and visa requiremnts
Ben Jones made this Freedom of Information request to UK Border Agency
The request was partially successful.
From: Ben Jones
15 April 2009
Dear Sir or Madam,
The Mormon Church has recently played a significant role in
campaigning against gay marriage and civil unions in the United
States. With this in mind I would be grateful if you could confirm
what requirements are laid out in the granting of visas to Mormon
Missionaries to ensure that they do not propagate homophobic
propaganda, and what actions are taken against those who break the
conditions of their visas.
Yours faithfully,
Ben Jones
