Dear Sir or Madam,

Please release the following details relating to the most recent
round of Trust monitoring of junior doctors' hours used to
ascertain compliance with the European Working Time Directive and
pay banding:

A full summary of all anonymised data gathered for monitoring. It
is specifically requested that this inludes:

1. The percentage of FY1 doctors whose hours were compliant.
2. The percentage of FY1 doctors who recorded insufficient breaks
(i.e. 30 minutes in every 4 hours worked).
3. The percentage of FY1 doctors who, at any stage during their
monitoring, worked shifts which did not permit 11 hours statutory
rest between worked hours.
4. A summary of the plan in place to compensate those doctors who
worked more than their contracted hours.

NB: please could you ensure the breakdown includes separate data for those on medical and surgical on-call rotas (i.e. those who have "identical" workload commitments as specified in monitoring guidelines.)
