Dear Independent Police Complaints Commission,
Can you please provide a copy of the Risk Consideration Grid and
associated documentation used in Determination of the Mode of
Investigation at the IPCC.
Please be sure to include any policy or procedures in relation to
this.
I have noted that there are a number of entries on here that have
taken well in excess of the 20 day limit. This is a simple request,
can you please ensure this is action within the limitation period.
Yours faithfully,
Mark Purdy

Dear Mr Purdy,
Re: Your request
Thank you for your email dated 9th March 2010, which you make a request
for
information which I now confirm receipt of.
I would like to inform you that there will be a delay in responding to
your request.
The reason for this delay is because the IPCC has over recent months
seen an increase
in the number of information requests it receives and this has in effect
caused a
delay in responding to requests.
I would like to assure you that your request is being processed and once
a decision
has been finalised you will be contacted. I would like to apologies for
the delay and
hope that this does not cause you any inconvenience.
Yours sincerely

Dear !FOI Requests,
I do not accept that you immediately respond to my request
informing me that there WILL be a delay! I am astonished at this
email.
If you do not retract this intention to delay my request for
information, I will request that the Information commissionaire
takes a look at this request and whether you are permitted to delay
in this manner.
I am uninterested in whether you have failed to resource properly
and expect that this simple request is attended to within the 20
day period.
If I have not received a response within 2 days I will refer the
matter.
Yours sincerely,
Mark Purdy
