Paul Hollinghurst made this Freedom of Information request to Department for Communities and Local Government
The request was successful.
From: Paul Hollinghurst
14 May 2010
Dear Department for Communities and Local Government,
The government recently decided that the existing 1:25000 and
1:50000 Ordnance Survey raster mapping would not be released for
free as described in "Policy options for geographic information
from Ordnance Survey – Consultation: Government Response' (March
2010).
Please could you send me copies of minutes for any meetings which
considered whether the 1:25000 and 1:50000 mapping should be
included.
Thank you for your help,
Yours faithfully,
Paul Hollinghurst
